Kung Fu Guy is a totally not forced meme that happened when Steve Hogarty, taking the example of Mike Cernovich, came to the defense of Zoe Quinn by trying to show what a badass he is. However, unlike Mike Cernovich who is a 200 pound lawyer/power lifter, Steve is a skinny nerd who writes articles about gaming and looks like the "Karate Kyle" meme. What GamerGaters didn't realise is that he was taking the piss and wasn't actually serious about any of his tweets.
Consequently he became the new "Respectfully Nodding Guy" and had a game made about him.
