Ok, so it's 2 months old, but I think it's a worthwhile goal. At present, Hypocrisy is a redirect to Hypocrite, the wikipedo. I must admit that it would be a refreshing change from the standard fare of attack/people articles. Do you have any input or suggestions? - Gray is onto something here. ED isn't purely a shock site but obviously a lot of stuff is meant to shock. Even advertising is unavoidable: can we not have an article on Microsoft lest someone buy a computer with Windows on it? "Irreverence" is a wiggle word meant to apply to anything. It's obviously about censorship. As for pedo-fap material, I can honestly tell you I haven't fapped to anything on here, even though some of it is attractive or erotic. The thing is: a lot of people fap to shocking stuff (even that horse sex thing) so there's always going to be overlap between stuff that makes people vomit, stuff that makes people weep in terror, and stuff that gets people wet. I think these could be dealt with on a case by case basis.

If the furluminati are indeed a group worthy of drama and lulz, then their page needs to reflect it by talking more about the sad people trying to cover up the obvious truth instead of being just a silly self-parody that says lame things like "the Furluminati have a strong grip in Europe, Australia and Canada, and they intend to overthrow the American government next."
Talking about the edit warriors (linked names) as examples and focusing mostly on their tenancy to cover things up, examples of them doing massive covers, and leaving the links for their main page for further information would be a good idea. It should also focus more on how sad these people really are instead of glorifying them like it's some sort of actual conspiracy. Having pictures that aren't so random and actually related to the people and events in the text would help a ton as well.
If the page is to become lulzy and really worthy of not being in namespace, it needs a massive overhaul from someone who actually cares and wants to save it from being Uncylcopedia bleedover. Don't think the 2009 Golden Ipod picture exists anymore
Since it seems my ideas for arranging categories suck (Mike told me they were a bit of a clusterfuck, which after he explained why I have to admit makes a lot of sense), I decided to go see if I couldn't find more wanted pictures ED is missing (and I'll leave the categories to you and the more experienced EDiots since I still seem to be an idiot in that area.).
Unfortunately, I don't think the Internet has a copy of the 2009 Golden iPod picture anymore.
I searched Google, Tineye, and the Wayback Machine for quite awhile, and all the other images can be found in some form or fashion, but the 2009 one seems to be gone from the internet, unless someone saved a private copy they don't mind reuploading.
The only other person who might have a copy would probably be a certain fatass, but given how none of the "offensive" shit is on her coat hangered abortion of a website, she probably deleted all the shit she didn't use for OhShitternet or something, so unless I didn't look hard enough, I wasn't even able to find a low res thumbnail of the 2009 picture.
If you have any leads, I wouldn't mind doing the hard work of tracking it down and adding it back to ED. In the meantime, I'll be searching for other wanted pictures whenever I don't have other shit to do. DarkLordTR 00:12, 18 November 2012 (EST)DarkLordTR
- Thanks for the info. The category cleanup seems to be more or less done (you and Andres got the rest Mike didn't get to from what I can tell by checking the recent changes, sorry for the trouble), but speaking of categories, I do think we'll need a category for images that cannot be found and must either be privately donated from personal archives or recreated by hand like that Golden iPod photo, and it should probably be reserved for pictures that have been verified impossible to find using the usual resources. If you and the other sysops think it's a good idea, I wouldn't mind helping put together a list of stuff like that while replacing all the stuff that can otherwise be found. In fact, if I get made EDitor, I plan to spend most of my time finding as many pictures as possible because I remember how nice the original ED looked in the pix department and I want to help restore the current site back to it's former glory.
- I also learned that category related crap is something I need to get sysop approval/consensus on before I do anything, so I'll make sure I get sysop approval before shifting that stuff around again so you guys don't have to do anymore cleanup BS than you have to already.
