Here's a primer: 2014. Gamergate happened and soon every edgy 13 year old boy jumped on the bandwagon after seeing at least 100 rekt feminist compilations on youtube, wherein the young impressionable minds of the American youth were bombarded with shrill feminazis screeching about everything. This presented the left with an image crisis. Not wanting to be seen as "uncool" by today's youth, they needed to think of something quick. Enter the Chapo Trap House. Now with moar calculated edginess and irony. (The name is a drug reference, geddit kids?) tl;dr: it is a podcast designed to appeal to edgy kids made by wealthy men in their late 30s. The Revolutionaries

Will Menaker- the leader of the Chapos, a rich Jew from New York City. His father has a cushy job doing nothing in publishing. His grandfather was an honest-to-God Soviet spy. Being a subversive parasite runs in Menaker's blood.

The Community

Infested with trannies, 13 year olds, and other chronically unemployable social parasites, they communicate primarily through in-jokes and various "ironic" statements because they were all bullied in high school and are desperate to feel a sense of belonging in a fucking subreddit. Somehow a group of nerds are going to lead a communist revolution in the US even though they're too scared to place a take-out order over the phone. The Subreddit

QUARANTINED LOL r/ChapoTrapHouse is a better-known leftist subreddit on Reddit, and one of the most hated. Seriously, even a lot of their fellow communists hate that place. The subreddit has reached the point that the word "Chapo" is interchangeable with "stupid leftist". Common occurrences include "trans cutie" threads and yelling about how America is a Fascist country. Right-wingers seem to think that the sub is behind every brigade on the site, even if in most cases it's just people disagreeing with them. There are a bunch of leftists who hate them, however, leftist infighting isn't anything new. Interacting with chapofags, or just mentioning them, is an easy way to generate drama. Despite the podcast being all about being "edgy comedy", the sub is usually stiff and humorless. Since they don't want to offend people by using insults like "faggot", they instead use "chud" as an insult. As a result of all of this, they are child's play to troll. In August of 2019, r/ChapoTrapHouse was quarantined by the Reddit admins.

Thottie/Bria/Brie- Uppity negress and Hurricane Katrina refugee that relocated to Detroit. She is currently attempting to make it into law school with the hopes she can enter politics. Although one does wonder if it would be beneficial to her career if anyone found out she was fraternizing with a community that regularly discusses murdering politicians.
