Ruby Gloom
Ruby Gloom is the name of a canceled animu from Canada about a set of elegant gothic lolitas having fabulous adventures in and about their manor in the town of Gloomsville. Made through the wonders of Adobe flash, the show often attempts to convey messages of hope and growing-up to its target audience. Unfortunately, the majority of the fanbase is in fact not innocent children but rather overweight Hot Topic shoppers seeking to reach counter-cultural status by watching a show made for children. Seems familiar? The series is also, rather dismally, subject to a massive amount of rule 34, to the point that a simple Google search of "ruby gloom" will turn up poorly drawn porn on the first page.

- Ruby Gloom - "The happiest girl in the world", the series' protagonist and most flat (not in that sense you pedophile) character. Literally useless as a plot device, she typically serves as the "median-type" whenever conflict arises. She is a Mary Sue loli icon, worshipped by Deviantart weaboos.
- Skullboy - A true display of the creators' creativity, he is a, you guessed it, skeleton-boy. Additionally, he is constantly shipped with every character on the show in the multitude of crappy fanfics produced.
- Iris - Annoying cyclops with some sort of mental retardation.
- Frank and Len - Siamese twins who run a band named "RIP" that is often the source of the show's terrible soundtrack.
- Misery - The gray banshee that represents an old woman and is inexplicably drooled over by the weeaboo fans of the show.

Fanbase
As with any over-rated television series, a heavy fanbase composed of ronery weebs has dedicated themselves to following of Ruby Gloom, in an extremely similar fashion to that of Invader Zim fans. Characters are shipped, fanfics are written, and above all, faggotry is produced. However, unlike similar fandoms, Ruby Gloom produces a truly unique set of retards who essentially troll themselves with extreme fanboy grammar, in-drama, and overall disagreement about WHO IS THE BEST WAIFU and WHY THIS IS REALLY A GREAT SHOW EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH IT.
