Belén Aldecosea is a 21-year-old college student who, following a Cancer scare, decided to adopt an "emotional-support hamster" named Pebbles. On November 21, 2017, Belen was preparing to fly home to Miami when she was told that Pebbles wouldn't be allowed on the flight – Belen then did what anyone would do and brutally drowned her pet hamster to death in a filthy airport restroom toilet.
