The Vox Dramatica prize, in all of its glory.

Superior to the Nobel Prize, the Vox Dramatica prize is awarded to Encyclopedia Dramatica EDitors who show tireless commitment to bringing the lulz in force and continuing the mission of the site.

All registered users are eligible to obtain the Vox Dramatica prize. The phrase, "Vox Dramatica/Dramaticæ" is a Latin phrase, which roughly translates to "Voice of the Drama". Criteria for award involves proper grammar, witty writing style, wiki markup, and page categorization skills. A Vox Dramatica prize winner shows excellence in not only satirical article writing, but also the fine art of parody.

You can only win the Vox Dramatica prize once. The people who have won the award on the original (ED.com) site are filed under the "Legacy Laureates" section. Everyone who has won the award thereafter, on any other version of ED (id est any site that isn't/wasn't ED.com), is filed under the "Laureates" section.

Finally, the phrase, "Getting/Given VD" is a colloquialism to describe being awarded the Vox Dramatica prize.

Blu Aardvark is also well known for his serious wiki skills, as demonstrated by giving the Main Page a face lift, and also for trying to leave ED to embrace the Christian faith, only to come back with more of the spirit of lol in his heart. Congrats to Eppigy for winning VD for March 2007. Eppigy is probably best known for the series of YouTube videos he made during the PeppermintPatti saga.
