dont doing this check in the upload process
sheach in the change site after " newer Version" and pars a new page so you can edit this per hand. (i think this will never be bigger can 0,1k or so) Wopot 07:42, 5 May 2011 (UTC)

What? If someone else has already uploaded an image with the same name then my harvested version doesn't get uploaded if that's what you're getting at. Armucat 02:13, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
