Before making your first article look over ED:101. If you don't, it is unlikely that your article will survive for more than sixty seconds and you risk being banned by ED Sysops.
We realize a lot of you are busy or may be new to ED, so here's just the most important info:
- Read ED:101. Seriously. The information contained within is invaluable. Further tutorials of use can be found here.
- To answer a message, reply on the user's talk page (Tab at the top that says 'discussion').
- Sign your comments by using four tildes (like this ~~~~)
- These are the sysops. If you have a problem, talk to them. They're here to help; we promise.
- The TJC is the community portal. It's linked to from every page; just look at the top left of the page. Check it daily.
- Use Special:Upload to upload pictures. Be sure to give them meaningful names. Also, do not upload any CP or Bestiality pr0n or you will be b&.
- Active editors and sysops can be found on ED IRC. This is the place to go for advice, collaboration, and brownie points.

I deleted those templates but hear me out - You don't need to make templates like that for a single use. In fact you don't need templates for that at all. Also we're not going to modify the entire site's CSS so one article works. Single-element CSS can be added in tags with the style="" attribute. What I can do, if you show me what you're trying to copy, is add the single element and make it look how you want. TOW makes templates for people who don't know CSS and HTML and need to, but we have people here who already know it so show me what it is you're trying to do and I'll fix it to look the same. Some friendly advice
I did some formatting cleanup on your article, but first, I want to explain a few things to you: If you were hoping to port this article over from wherever you got it and reproduce the exact same way it was there, sorry, this is ED, it ain't happening.
For one reason, ED does not have (or need) some of the templates or CSS that page used, so you will have to modify the page content for what ED does support.
Also, some more advice, clean this shit the fuck up before you post it. I had to remove a bunch of shitty formatting that you could have done yourself by clicking preview before you first posted this, seeing the parts that looked like shit, then cleaning up as much as you could have before posting it.
Finally, me and the rest of ED don't give a fuck about this retarded edit war you're in with this DonkeyLong faggot, and if you continue to get into edit wars, you'll piss off the sysops, and they will ban you.
The proper way to deal with this is to contact an editor or sysop and have them deal with whoever is being a jackass.
I'm operating on the assumption you're adding shit in good faith here, so please take my advice seriously.

- Anyway, that wiki dump link you posted seems to be dead, you might want to look into that. As for this guy you've been in a war with, just revert vandalism edits without causing drama. Also, you created a page on a wiki, not a whole wiki. A wiki is basically a whole bunch of articles on one site like this, so just say article from now on so you don't confuse people.

- The link seems to be working fine, it just keeps saying nothing is there when I try to download the file. As I mentioned on the TJC the file might have been removed or corrupted when you uploaded it (if it was corrupted, the filesharing service is probably to blame for garbling the upload), so you might want to try uploading it again or find another filesharing service to mirror link it on. Trust me, file sharing services tend to be shaky these days, but I'd try hosting alternate copies on other file sharing services, even torrents if you have to just to make sure it can be downloaded.

- Yup. Entered the captcha, file started to download, then it times out and says the file doesn't exist. How large a file are we talking about, anyway? Some file sharing services make you get a premium account to download files of a certain size, so that may be what's going on.

I hear what your say but having the page and title just be something like "mercedes ashley - encyclopedia dramatica" would get a lot more traffic from google from people searching just mercedes ashley which is more likly to be searched than pornwikileaks/mercedes ashley. - Just to add to what Hipcrime said, friendly tip for articles that aren't ready to post as they are (if they are ports from another wiki especially) and need lots of work: put them in your own userspace while they are still rough drafts. Polish them up and make them look good there, then request they be moved to their own proper page when you are ready to post something on the wiki proper. Also, if you need formatting or editing help, you could probably post an announcement in the TJC requesting some help or ask another editor if they'd be willing to help make the article look a lot less like goatse.
