This is serious. READ IT.

Before making your first article look over ED:101. If you don't, it is unlikely that your article will survive for more than sixty seconds and you risk being banned by ED Sysops.

Adam Lanza

Thanks for helping out with my article. I've been busy with a few other ones as of the moment and finishing some books and games. AlGore 03:37, 24 October 2015 (EDT)

Hey no probs. I'm working on some drafts for other articles involving mass murderers, films, and notable internet users which I'm looking forward to publishing in the near future. -Morris 07:11, 9 February 2016 (EST)

TY

Thanks for the tip on my Klaus Barbie entry. I just created one for Heinrich Himmler, and I tried in use some templates. Let me know what you think!

Thank you

I'm so glad to see that I have a VD. It's nice to know that I've been appreciated-- as a new contributor-- for sharing the real truth to the world. More will come!

Excellent

The scroll bar on the David Raymond Amos was a good idea. Wish I thought of it first.

  • I think 3 and 4 are reversed, SWAT is 3 stars (that's when the police vans/helicopters/roadblocks roll out) and FBI is 4 stars (unmarked cars and vans). Correct me if I'm wrong. Uberfukken 13:52, 18 April 2016 (EDT)
Well in GTA it is like this CobaltCat 14:03, 18 April 2016 (EDT)
Whoever wrote that is a fucking moron. Many errors, most glaring that they say the military comes out when you reach 6 stars. Uberfukken 03:05, 19 April 2016 (EDT)
Wait no it was 6 stars. I've been playing too much V. Anyway 3 should be SWAT, 4 should be SWAT, 5 is FBI, 6 is Guard. Because it's redundant I'd change 3 to Vice Squad from vice city. Uberfukken 03:24, 19 April 2016 (EDT)
Updated. You were right, 3 and 4 were reversed. Thanks for pointing that out.
Planning on using these for articles, and I don't think templates are ever linked to from userspace. Can you please move the WantedLevels page out of my userspace, and set them as templates? Seeing as there's 5 Levels, I think there will have to be an individual page for each Level; (Template:WantedLevel1, Template:WantedLevel2, etc.). If you could do that, I'd really appreciate it. --Morris 11:19, 19 April 2016 (EDT)
Sure I'll move it, but I don't think it's finished yet. Got the tables and everything but I don't see the syntax to select which wanted level you're giving. Should look something like {{WantedLevel|3}} would give three stars. If you need help with that I can probably throw something together. It would be more compact than using 5 different templates. Uberfukken 13:34, 19 April 2016 (EDT)
That's a good alternative. Unfortunately, I'm clueless as to how the syntax will select a wanted level. That's unexplored territory for me, and I would like help with that. --Morris 10:58, 20 April 2016 (EDT)
I think we have ParserFunctions installed. I'll look into it sometime this week. Uberfukken 19:55, 25 April 2016 (EDT)
Cheers. Take your time, no rush. --Morris 08:56, 26 April 2016 (EDT)
Inform me when the wanted template is working, and I'll go add in the template to each killer's article, using the 1 star per 10 casualties rule. If you could make a hyperlink for each title such as Mall Cop etc, please do. Thanks... AlGore 21:45, 30 April 2016 (EDT)

Faroe Islands

Yeah, if it doesn't have a better redirect, then yes. CobaltCat 11:07, 26 April 2016 (EDT)

Done. --Morris 10:06, 27 April 2016 (EDT)

Good work

GG HEY THERE!
Hey, Morris! I saw what you did with everything you've been doing
I just wanted to say keep up the good work

I've looked through your contribution history. I see You've been doing a shitload of work as well; You should be made an EDitor if you aren't already. We should collaborate a lot more as we work on similar articles. You got steam at all? AlGore 23:23, 4 May 2016 (EDT)

I have got a Steam account, but I almost never use it. I can collaborate with you there for sure, just add me as a friend on my account:
I also noticed you are now an Admin. Congratulations, you deserve it. :) --Morris 09:10, 9 May 2016 (EDT)

Thanks. my steam ID (when you look at the url) should say Sturmgeist. I'm the dude who uses pictures of eric harris or has the name eric harris in russian. You'll detect me easily. AlGore 21:58, 18 May 2016 (EDT)

Re: Gravity Falls Episode Guide.

Hells yeah. I'm totally up for a GF Episode guide.

I've honestly only seen the second season so I want to cover that one.

aw yea bruh. I've mostly seen the first season, so I'll cover that part. I'll start working on it tomorrow or the day after. Cheers pal. --Morris 10:29, 15 May 2016 (EDT)

Wanted Template; II

I decided to use the wanted template in all of the pages that have the High Score template. I used the proposed 1 star per 10 casualties (killed or injured) but it might fluctuate. If someone got 28 kills but things were more intense IRL, I might've occasionally used a 3 star template. However fags like Alex Hribal (who got 24 injured but none killed) only get a 1 star wanted level for being a fag. AlGore 21:57, 18 May 2016 (EDT)

I don't mind slight changes to the scoring system, especially when the subject of the article made an epic fail attempt at reaching the High Score (Asa Coon, Shane Halligan, Jason Rodriguez, etc.) I'm glad we were able to successfully implement this system on ED, consider it a team effort.
I've added you on Steam, we'll discuss collaborations on the pages in your userspace over there. --Morris 08:35, 19 May 2016 (EDT)

We're now steam-bros, feel free to delete any traces to our steam shit on this page. You're the one who made the template for me, so you get the credit. I just spent an hour putting it in under all the pages with the high score template, that's all.

I've also put you forth as a nomination for getting VD, and remember to nominate yourself for EDitor and send me the link. I'll gladly vouch for you. AlGore 15:23, 20 May 2016 (EDT)

Greetings

As a you are a new EDitor, I'm prepared to offer a bit of advice, and there's always more where this comes from.

Your new abilities are Rollback, Protect, Edit Protected, Upload Over, and Move (pages and files). These give you considerable vandal fighting effectiveness, which you should leap upon given the chance, and contain the situation until sysops arrive to ban the offender. With the ability to edit protected pages, you have greater access to editing templates and Twitter cards. It's a rare opportunity, but you can now upload over small images with ones of higher quality. That isn't the concern it once was. Moving pages is rarely necessary, and is most often used to fix typos in page titles. Congratulations, and thank you for serving the great and powerful Encyclopedia Dramatica. As always, you are free to contact me if you have questions or concerns. —  VX  00:47, 22 May 2016 (EDT)

Many thanks. --Morris 09:50, 24 May 2016 (EDT)

Get out CobaltCat 12:13, 2 October 2016 (EDT)

Hey man

Sorry about that, I just got home. Thank you for your vigilance. Feel free to use the protect option to lock a page down to admin level whenever you feel like it (: . Mike the Great (talk) 14:42, 1 November 2016 (EDT)

Hey no probs, and you're welcome. I'll protect that page if it gets vandalized again. --Morris 10:49, 1 November 2016 (EDT)

Brandon Smith

Ayy, c'mon man, that article was way cooler before half the shit got removed.

Chimpout

Y HAlo Thar. Would you like the 'chimpout' page renamed to 'shitskin plantation'? You've done a redirect but perhaps the redirect ought to be from searches for 'chimpout' to the renamed page. What do you think? Sidecar 14:47, 10 November 2016 (EST)

Abracadabra, tis done. The page move will have created a new redirect automatically, but if you do a round-up of redundant redirects and let me know, I'll kill off the duds. The change of name means a fair bit of surgery to the article text, but I'm sure you're on top of that. Sidecar 11:27, 11 November 2016 (EST)
