Outrage Culture is the most persistent form of protesting that as appeared in the 21st Century, as a more active form of Slacktivism. Whereas protesting in the past involved actually going out into the world, trying to convince others of the rightness of your position using truth and formal speaking, and ultimately gathering en mass in a massive movement to show how serious you and your compatriots are about the issue... protesting today generally amounts to guilting other people into accepting you're right by simply claiming to be offended. Worse, it's not so much that you're done something wrong that should be the impetus for you should change, it's rather the fact that you've hurt someone's feelings that should convince you to change your ways.
