There is some speculation that he may have a mental or developmental disability, although it is unknown as to what that disability may be. He described himself in a Yahoo profile as being someone on a "disabled pension". Siple tends to post in choppy sentences with few words, in a poetic style. He does, in fact, refer to himself as a poet and belongs to at least one poetry writing Website.
Siple states that he likes boys of all ages, and that he is a homosexual. He also states that his first sexual experience was at the age of 40, with a man who was aged 32. He says that they have remained close friends.

Our Investigation
These are the steps we took in our investigation to connect the screen name "justoldhappyme" to James Siple:
- Justoldhappyme is known to post on many pedophile forums, including BL.net, Boylandonline, TeenBoysWorld, and others
- In almost every post on every forum, he mentions his dog, Henry
- A search using his screen name revealed a profile on a poetry site which gave us an e-mail address
- Using his e-mail address, we located a MySpace profile which gave us his first name and his location in Canada, as well as his age. He also mentioned his dog in his profile.
- Further searching revealed yet another online profile, which included his real name and a photo that matched one used on his MySpace profile page. Again in this profile, he mentions his dog, Henry.
- In a profile he posted on Boylove.net, he posted a profile which states his name as being James Siple. In yet another profile posted on Boys Scout Camp, he posted his e-mail address as being [email protected], which matches other instances where he has posted his e-mail and personally identifying information.
