Update 10/31/11: On 10/24/11, Jonathan Radliff was convicted of 2nd degree sexual assault (sexual contact with a child under 14). He received 60 months supervised probation, fines, DNA testing, and he must comply with all sex offender registration statutes, including no contact with any minor child, cannot reside with a child, unless a judge approves, and 90 days of electronic monitoring. He must also undergo sexual abuse therapy at his own expense and must follow all recommendations made by the therapist. Some of the conditions of his probation are:

  • He may not drink alcohol or go to any place which serves alcohol
  • No illegal substances
  • Must not associate with other felons or others who are breaking the law
  • Cannot own any fire arms
  • Must not leave the state of Illinois without permission
  • May be searched at any time

If the court revokes his probation, he could be jailed for 20 years.

Jonathan Radliff AKA Catalyst of Change is a pedophile who is a member of GirlChat and has been known to blog about his pedophilic views. His personal blog was recently shut down by ACME, an anti-pedophile group intent on shutting down Websites and blogs belonging to pedophiles. He has listed his heroes as fellow pedophiles 28 and Lindsay Ashford.

As a kid, Jonathan did not socialize much with other kids, making a couple of close friends with whom he would interact with on a regular basis. Jonathan admits to having been sexually attracted to children as young as seven years old when he was a fourteen-year-old teenager. By age fifteen, he admits to knowing he was a pedophile and realized, as he put it, "something about it might be a little strange." Through many family struggles and rough times during his high school years, he managed to get his GED and eventually went on to college. It was in college, while at the library and typing an essay, that he stumbled upon the online "childlove" community.

During his late teens, Jonathan was diagnosed with and treated for mental disorders; the facility later told him they could no longer treat him after learning of his pedophilic tendencies. Feeling betrayed and angry, it was then that he decided he wanted to create a world in which childlovers would be accepted, by using online mediums, writing about them in his classes and contacting legislators.

As some of you may know, I have a MySpace account that I use to reach out to various people through groups and forums and the writings of my blog. I have made several friends who are aware of my attraction to minors and still choose to be my friend, disproving all of the strongly held notions that no 'normal' person (read: non-minor attracted person) can accept a pedophile. That is what I love about MySpace. All kinds of people have the opportunity to come together in the sort of friendship that allows people to learn and grow from each other--people that might not have a chance to come together otherwise.

Jonathan claims that he is "out" to close friends and family who accept him as a pedophile. He also says that he has many little girlfriends who think the world of him and many parents who seconded that opinion, thus adding to fuel to his already burning fire - wanting childlovers to be accepted. But yet, he admits that he advocates using a different name:

In the past, Jonathan has been questioned by the police about stalking. He is currently a student at Southwestern Illinois College, runs an online jewelry store and continues to be a pedophile activist. He also claims to be a member of the Phi Theta Kappa, international honor society of two-year colleges, and founder of The Club for Religious/Non-Religious Diversity.

I had a girlfriend who was eleven when we first started going out. At the present date she is seventeen, and yet that attraction still exists (although we are no longer together). It should be known, however, that she is quite small for her age: small in frame, small bust size, etc. Still, my feelings for her have not changed from her growing up--in fact, quite the opposite seems to have happened. As we have grown older, I feel as though my AoA has extended right along with her.

Of course, I love being around kids - I am a pedosexual.

The main reason that I am committed to living an open life, however, is because I have lived the hidden one. It was said just to my mother. She had known about my pedophilic attractions since I was fifteen, but for the most part she just avoided the topic altogether. That night was one of the first times I really had an avenue with which to open up and tell her how I feel. I told her that the attraction was not just sexual and tried to explain what I loved about girls. She told me that she was not afraid of what I might do, but what I might be accused of. It was a hard conversation to have, but it was necessary. I basically wanted her to accept all parts of me before being proud of me. I still don't know if she understood.
