For a year that promised the end of the world, 2012 was as bullshit-filled as anyone would expect. With the rise of newfag sites such as Tumblr, Reddit, and 9gag, it seems like all 2012 accomplished was taking real life events and converting them into memes. But to say that 2012 was nothing but a meme circlejerk would be a blatant lie as any year that contains a shooting that made Americans look like idiots that believe that children are impervious to death and a yacht crash caused by a captain who only wanted to salute some people on some island is all but unlulzy.
