Lulz: A Corruption of LOL is a soundtrack containing all the meme songs that have come to be as of this time, January 2008. The project was started independently by an /i/nsurgent who realized just how many songs there are posted to 420chan's /m/usic board, which allows music file uploads. A post was made to /ic/ on 4chan for album art, and now the project is ongoing and is organized by many faithful Anons.

History

In order to organize this clusterfuck of music, three albums were formed and a page on Partyvan.info was made up.

So thus the soundtrack series was born. From that point, there was already first version of album 4 out. Over the years since, more and more songs have been added to it and the amount of albums expanded overtime. It was consistently updated until goons from anonops copypasta'd the article onto hear and shouted people down for wanting to keep both pages up to date. Let's fix that, shall we?

I found 2/3 missing tracks. I couldn't find the South Park track but i found a DVDRIP of the episode, which is the next best thing. Someone will obviously need to extract the audio and edit. Shoop 13:36, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

O hai, it's me LeonBlade... I added the 800x800 one, the quality is meh but the scaling of the image was small so the upscale isn't very smooth as it should be. If there are any shoopers out there that would like to assist that would be gr9.

Thinking of splitting this into two separate albums, one for protest songs and another for Scientology songs. Have enough for the protest album, but may need one or two more Scientology songs. Wondering how this will work though, leave one of the albums here, and make the next disk XVII or make the second disk XII (This will, however, fuck up the current album art for any disks afterwards). Other choices are making it in two parts (XI-1 and XI-2) or making it an XBOXHUEG album with 30+ songs. There's also just leaving it alone, entirely. What do the people say?

I just made the artwork for "Hackers on Steroids". The reason why I made this is because I think the album art on Disc XIII and Disc XIV aren't really that different. This one I think should be the album cover for this disc because it's appropriate and it has hulk hogan (who looks like he's taken steroids) hacking on a computer. What do you guys think?

Me again, I just spent the time finding higher quality (320kbps) music to replace the lower quality ones, volume leveling the songs so that they play at the same volume, trimming and mastering some songs "You're the Best and Fight to Survive". Note that there are some that I upconverted but the entire album is encoded at 320kpbs and properly tagged. So I'm wondering if we can go to pre-release or are we still requesting songs?

Considering there is a decent amount of tracks for an album and also you have album art, i reckon we should bump the Prerelease to a Release as there hasn't been any request for additional song and also since we have a lot of proposed/work in progress albums to complete.
