This guy is easy to tear apart. He's an idiot who attacks Xtians over creationism, without seeming to realize that he's actually just attacking a protestant heresy using a Catholic heresy to call anyone who disagrees with his heresy "irrational" via nonsensical axiomatic "assumptions" that amount to little more than verbal shell game. He's a scientist and he is very knowledgeable about a very particular lens on how to view reality and outside of that narrow lens he's clueless. He, LOL, is actually arguing against "God" with a capital G. LULZ!

What this all stems from is an erroneous understanding of Sir Francis Bacon's heretical conception of the "enchanted glass" of men's minds. The Wisdom of Solomon (in the translation that Bacon uses) states "God hath put the world (eternity) in man's heart yet cannot man find out the work which God worketh from the beginning to the end." Bacon takes a heretical understanding that it is possible to know of the beginnings and the ends of the heart of man and therefore the truth, from the Advancement of Learning Ch1 Sec 3,

This is against the conception of not only Christianity but that of the entire ancient world as it was understood, and as Nietzsche attacked this with "There are no facts, only interpretations" though Augustine puts it better "If only men's minds could be seized and held still! They would see how eternity (the world, Man's hearts), in which there is neither past nor future, determines both past and future time. Could mine be the hand strong enough to seize the minds of men? Could any words of mine have power to achieve so great a task?"

The problem is that Christians only started interpreting scripture in the manner that he prefers (as its the only kind he's familiar with and therefore knows how to attack) since Luther's renunciation of signs in the name of his sola scriptura one literal meaning.--GSTalbert 14:28, 7 October 2014 (EDT)
